Well worth reading today is New York Times publisher A. G. Sulberger's long opinion piece in the Washington Post ostensibly in defense of press freedom from Trump.

Would also recommend reading the comments. The majority of which call out Sulzberger for normalization of Trump and both-siderism practiced by his newspaper.
We have seen before how Sulzberger uses the rhetorical shield of "press freedom" to deflect criticism, but this is taking it to a new level.

1) Soooo, when I get stressed I crochet, โฆ A LOT!
Thereโs just too much going on around me (personally, politically, health wiseโฆ)
I had this โugly yarnโ so decided to make something โuglyโ to see if I could work out some of my feelings.
The result:

2) It canโt tell whether itโs coming or going, seems tortured but also trying to heal it itselfโฆ Iโm afraid this thing, whatever it is, is my new โspirit animalโ ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐ข๐ข
I decided I probably needed an โemotional support chickenโ instead (those things are so darn cute!) but I canโt knit anymore (takes two functioning hands for best results!) & I couldnโt find a crochet pattern I liked so I decided to โwing itโโฆ
The result;
( Iโm still angsty so I ended up naming her โMother Pluckerโ ๐คจ)

Too many people think #Trump is some kind of business genius because he's got money. He'd literally be richer if he put the money daddy gave him in a savings account and didn't touch it. He's had bankruptcy after bankruptcy after bankruptcy, but because some reality TV show painted him as a massive success, we have all these mouth breathers who think he's god's gift to the business market. He's not. He's a nepo baby with delusions of grandeur.
Transcript of CounterSpin's interview with Freddy Brewster on the supermarket megamerger:
"Kroger is already buying Albertsons for $24.6 billion, and is willing to invest another $2 billion to bring down prices and to get more wages.... They have $29 billion sitting around that they can use to buy another company and lower prices and give people better wages. Well, why aren't they lowering prices and giving people better wages right now?"

Israel allowed US investigators to collect testimonies directly from witnesses who experienced the events of 7 October but refused to allow testimony to be collected from Israeli soldiers for fear they could be tried for war crimes, Hapeles newspaper reported on 5 September.
It is possible the soldiers' testimonies that were not sent to the US contain details about "the Hannibal Directive".

If that introduced many new dependencies, your code could be much worse IMHO.
