Add this to the long list of Jews being censored for being critical of Israel and for having the decency of listening to Palestinians. In so many spaces today they give themselves the permission to tell Jews how they must behave and what their politics ought to be.

CIA chief: The new Gaza ceasefire plan will be presented in more detail in the coming days
It's finally time to make some hard choices and some difficult compromises.
Who does he thinkwhe is fooling?
This disgusting shit show pretending that they are interested in "ceasefire" while they are the ones keeping Israeli war machine running with unlimited supply of weapons and massive military support.
They honestly think the world is just stupid and believe that Israel will stop their ongoing genocide when Hamas releases the kidnapped Israelise?
They want us to ignore everything Israeli leaders saying and doing and "trust" these disgusting criminals and professional liars?
They don't even have the courage to condemn the cold blooded murder of an American citizen, how the hell would anyone think they give a rats aas about the 2 million Palestinian hostages in Gaza?

Successfully migrated two CentOS Stream 8 (which is EOL since May 31) VPS to Alma Linux 8 today using the migration tool (wiki.almalinux.org/documentati…) and then upgraded them to Alma EL9 using ELevate (almalinux.org/de/elevate/)
I would have considered CentOS Stream 9 but there doesn’t seem to be an easy or supported upgrade path from Stream 8 to 9 according to the documentation.
So far, I couldn’t see any problems and the systems are running perfectly fine. But I’ll keep the snapshots for at least 72 hours. Just in case as one is my mail server and a little critical for my family 😅

The irony of the image linking to more-than-likely-corporation accounts on massive ultra-rich corporate social media.
I do agree with the sentiment of the picture however.

This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for and/or dreading.
I’m now on Bandcamp with 4 songs (so far). Check them out here!

This includes my #fedivision2024 entry “That’s Life” (tidied up and polished), “Test-Tube Baby” - a folkabilly romp through the tribulations of being conceived without sex 😃, “Everything Else” - a psychedelic rock something-or-other, & an old one I recorded with my band in the 80s.
Enjoy!

What we need to be looking at is how we can have an educated society with people engaged in work they can stand, living in adequate housing and eating clean food sustainably. We aren't there--that's gratis prep work.

in reply to MikeDunnAuthor • • •there is a better solution: negative income tax. everyone guaranteed basic income for living costs.
you'd still have taxes, and people can make as much money as they want selling whatever products and services they would like, but work would no longer be required to live or study.
this would theoretically boost GDP per capita as people can be more productive; the state would be initially bigger in cash terms but become smaller as a percentage of GDP.
aka universal basic income

In the now, it's actually a prerequisite to staying an advanced nation.
PS: from an indie Federal MP. This would include study allowances.
