@lisamelton I have to think that someone is working on getting him the *exact* medication blend to where he can semi-focus but not be catatonic.

I mean, anyone else here have someone in their group taking (or having taken) ADHD meds? So many of his, uh, performances look like he’s either overmedicated or coming down in the ‘angry’ stage.

Combine this with his known narcissism and it makes sense.

DARK DAY FOR AMERICA!

Donald Trump continues to portray the defendants as patriots worthy of admiration, an assertion that has been undercut by the adjudicated truth in hundreds of criminal cases where judges and juries have reached the opposite conclusion about what history will remember as one of America’s darkest days.

Thanks for sharing. Excellent piece of journalism. And remarkable to call his lies lies, different from the sane washing and masking his lies as "false Claims" Like #nytimes and other Outlets do.

I love that! Not that I really have the time to dig through that list but it makes me happy that they exist.

#Upcycling / #Recycling / #Reuse is good but more is needed!.

Easy to assume that the #Reuse / #Upcycling / #Recycling resources and overall smart design will somehow ensure sustainability / surviving.

Noooo not only the end user stuff - something more is needed and I admit asking the people with matches 🔥🌲🔥 isn't working (asking / protesting doesn't solve it)

“France’s constitution, bizarrely, allows its president to appoint any prime minister that he can get past MPs – but this is the first time in the history of France’s ‘Fifth Republic’ that a French president has refused to appoint a PM from the biggest parliamentary bloc. Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s ‘France Unbowed’, which leads the ‘New Popular Front’ left bloc, has launched impeachment proceedings against Macron.”

Does MAGA even want stability in American politics? Even if American democracy is at stake?

Former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, issued a warning on Saturday predicting the United States will collapse in an "imminent new civil war" amid this year's election over Russian sanctions.

The rise in AI-fabricated publications could be another reason NLM is unlikely to extend the PubMed preprint pilot beyond NIH-funded preprints.

[Reminder NIH preprints are in PubMed via PMC by virtue of its role as an archive of NIH-funded research NOT because this is a likely first step to archiving all preprints] 1/n

@steveroyle

I think institutional infrastructure should be quality controlled by the institutions first and foremost. A dedicated body ought to be formed for accrediting non-institutional members?

in reply to Björn Brembs

yes - could be ROR based but the length of time it took to set that up does not fill me with confidence. the challenge with non-institutional is that means creating some new global entity, bureaucracy, etc. etc. lots of cracks for things to slip between

September 7, 2017 – Education Secretary Betsy DeVos called campus sexual assault enforcement a “failed system” and vowed to review the Title IX guidelines put in place by the Obama administration. DeVos claimed the current system “clearly pushed schools to overreach” by using “intimidation and coercion.”

Is Trump Fever finally breaking in rural, red counties? To win statewide, the key is "decreasing margins in rural areas [and] show up and compete everywhere." Democrats are deploying resources to do just that.
