Starmer is open to offshoring asylum seekers to Albania like the Italian scheme
Human rights groups have condemned Italy’s ‘dodgy’ Rwanda-style deal with Albania to offshore asylum seekers, but as Starmer travels to Rome to meet Meloni, he admits he is open to copying it

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu decided to expand a military operation on the northern front with Lebanon, an Israeli media outlet said Saturday.
Channel 13 reported that Netanyahu made the statement during a strategic dialogue session on Thursday to discuss the escalation on the northern front, without specifying the parties involved in the session.
Israel is “on the verge of a broad and strong operation on the northern front,” he said.

Discovered some #linux #bluetooth shenanigans yesterday.
I fired up a first-person game for the first time in a long time, and found that the mouse movement was really jerky. Seems that the average polling rate on my MX Master 3S was really low over bluetooth - around 70-80Hz. My main monitor is 100Hz, so this is really noticeable.
The shenanigans come in because when I switched on my bluetooth trackball (M575) at the same time, the average polling rate for both went up to 90-125Hz!

Israeli soldiers throw stun grenades at demonstrators in Umm Safa village north of Ramallah, West Bank, on Saturday as residents and activists protest the land seizure of 123.5 acres by Israeli settlers.
Local sources said that the occupation soldiers fired sound bombs and toxic gas at the citizens who participated in the stand, against the occupation's attempts to seize their lands in the area for the benefit of colonial expansion.
