Israel launched fresh airstrikes in a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut early Wednesday after issuing orders for residents to evacuate.
Warplanes carried out strikes in several neighborhoods in southern Beirut, including Haret Hreik, Chyah, Choueifat, Er-Rouaiss and Jamous, according to an Anadolu reporter.
The strikes followed an order by the Israeli army to civilians to clear out of buildings "allegedly" used Hezbollah.

It's high time Australia:
- recognised the state of Palestine;
- ceased all support for Israel;
- recalled our ambassador and expelled theirs;
- cancelled all Israeli visas;
- froze Israeli assets in Australia;
- stopped materiel, personnel and information flowing from Australia to Israel;
- declared Israel a terrorist state (so Australian citizens who have gone to fight for Israel are subject to prosecution).

I got generative AI to attempt an undergraduate law exam. It struggled with complex questions
It’s been nearly two years since generative artificial intelligence was made widely available to the public. Some models showed great promise by passing academic and professional exams.For instance, GPT-4 scored higher than 90% of the United States bar exam test takers. These successes led to concerns AI systems might also breeze through university-level assessments. However, my recent study paints a different picture, showing it isn’t quite the academic powerhouse some might think it is.
