In the recent past, Vance has made it clear he would NOT have certified the 2020 election results like Pence did.
Intellectually, I so completely agree with you, Laffy, but emotionally, I am traumatized by the eternal recurrence of the need of so many in this and apparently, other countries, for a 'strongman' and all that implies, that it's been a challenge. I will, however, try something I've apparently lost muscle memory for; hope.

That's because there hasn't been evidence presented to a jury.

But this is still a good thing, it's being blasted all over the news, to voters, and it's spotlighting his crimes. It's monopolizing the news.
I'm sorry if I seem a tad angry and jaded, but bear in mind that this is a ridiculous situation in which someone who is pretty much already proven guilty and just needs a trial is using trickery to get around actually having said trial so he can actually be declared legally a king and thus above all law. He's literally trying to bypass the rule of law and we're watching it happen and being treated as "ok."
The fact is, people should be a LOT angrier than they are.
