Update: Kids totally underwhelmed with #Linux -- They confirmed that they could interact with their websites the way they wanted to, then walked away from the computer in favour of the Nintendo. Still counts as a win!
The true test will be whether they help themselves to the computer when they're out of Nintendo time and I leave the room later, like they do with MY laptop.
I dig all the new stuff in #Apple Maps, including being able to add private notes to saved places.
But just like the actual Notes app, I can't find a way to export our data to proper, usable formats. And no, Notes exporting only to PDF is absolutely not a proper, usable export format for a Notes app. If there were other options? Sure, maybe. But it's the only option.
Maps doesn't seem to have an option at all. This is a big miss. #AppleMaps #iOS #iOS18

But I still think this is a miss in a day-to-day aspect. Example: Someone wants to move from Notes to.. anything else. They're kinda screwed, unless the new app built something custom to enable that.
