The team found evidence of persistent infection in 43 percent of participants with cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal or neurologic symptoms symptoms of long COVID. Results are published in Clinical Microbiology and Infection.

William Nixon presented a paper at the Open Repositories conference a few years ago about the shared focus on #OpenAccess by Scottish institutions. Definitely a lot of knowledge sharing, etc.

Hey Emma, you might want to learn what "GNU GPL" and "copyleft" mean if you're going to report on this stuff. There is an obligation to give back, if any modified version of WordPress is "distributed", in either source code or binary form. Full source code must be made available under the same libre license terms.

WP really ought to be AGPL though ...

Given this lack of research or attention to detail, the angle of the rest of the article is suspect. There certainly seems to be a SillyCon Valley business press consensus that Matt is the villain of the piece. That in itself makes me inclined to take his side against the *private equity* company running WP Engine until convinced otherwise.

Matt's leadership has given the world a CMS that half the web runs on. What has WP Engine given the world?
