Science Nobel Prizes this year went to all men. One reason why so few women & POC have won Nobel Prizes is the structure dictated by Alfred Nobel which enforces a "great man of history" approach. No more than 3 people can share an award which doesn't reflect how modern research is done.

Rolling Stone: Meteorologists Get Death Threats as Hurricane Milton Conspiracy Theories Thrive

"“There’s so much bad information floating around out there that the good information has become obscured.”

Cappucci says that he’s noticed an enormous change on social media in the last three months: “Seemingly overnight, ideas that once would have been ridiculed as very fringe, outlandish viewpoints are suddenly becoming mainstream and it’s making my job much more difficult.” "

I have decided to assume all of those horrific replies are bots out to inflame us. Until I see someone I know. Then, I grieve.

Satya Nadella reportedly tries to meet with two CEOs every day.

The Information reports that the Microsoft CEO has instructed his staff to set up the twice-daily CEO calls.

He also apparently “often taps” people outside tech and business about leadership, like former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll. I’d love to be on a fly on the wall for their conversations.
