@madeindex Indeed. Especially considering this was on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX where there's all sorts of people walking around and walking by at all times.

Unfortunately, it’s a video. Can’t tell that from the link.

unfortunately? how so? how better would this have been expressed?

seems to me it can be discerned from the odysee link that it's a video, ... ?

am i completely misinterpreting what you're saying?

are you saying it cant be determined that americans dont realise they arent truly free from a video because its a video?

Never heard of odysee.

I prefer to have the alternative of text. Videos often take a long time to get to the point. Plus, they take time to load. Plus they use more system resources, CPU bandwidth, RAM, etc. At least give me a to-long-didn't-watch (tl;dw) summary. Don't presume that I will give you as much of my time as you care to use.

I can guess from the #tags that it makes the point that just two choices aren't enough. Well I've been preaching that same sermon here for years.

This #Starwars fan film is one of the best if not the best. I'm a computer geek. And in the short history of computing, we've seen instances where individuals known as "hackers" or "geeks" created something with a very small fraction of resources which is at least as good as the same thing big companies with tons of resources have created.

Now it turns out in the film making industry, the same thing can be seen.

For those of us outside the political cauldron currently splattering all over the news, and because we live in a different country that just has to live with the sickening international consequences of 40 years of the lives of the rich and famous, here are flowers.

They don’t change what we can’t influence, but they are briefly joyful and a reminder that there is more to life than fascist billionaires

These are beautiful. I live in the political cauldron because I live in the country. Seeing beauty as part of my day is essential to maintaining my strength to fight for a better world.
