That sucks. Whenever that happens to me, I make sure to eat more bananas. Apparently potassium deficiency can cause cramps, I'm not convinced that's what actually causes it for me, but I do like bananas, so it doesn't seem like much of a hardship.

And now I'm reminded of this song:

@StarkRG

I even had an early grocery delivery including bananas. They sent me unripe bananas. Sigh.

For a while, my Woolies had separate listings for "eat now bananas" and "eat later bananas", but when I ordered the eat now bananas, they were still unripe. I don't think they provide that option anymore.

@StarkRG

As the day goes on, I now think the cramping is down to my nerve damage.

Both legs have gone into full muscle clench & have been that way for at least 30 minutes so far.

I’ve had this before & it can go on for hours.

My solution? I’m knocking myself out.

Goodnight all. A very early day for me.

I did manage to make a late lunch/early dinner. :)

Mango chilli chicken with spuds & pumpkin. I couldn’t be bothered with greens.

No writer worth their salt would write a scene in which the bad guy candidate climbed inside a garbage truck branded with his name and then his disciples dressed in garbage bags to proclaim their allegiance to their trash king. It’s just too on the nose.

The kid has blue-screen issues with his Windows gaming machine, and I have no clue whatsoever how that could be fixed.

It's Windows, kid. You are on your own...

Yet another thing that I thought I could volunteer to help out with, but it's Discord only. Maybe it's time I suck it up and just be willing to use corporate VC trash chat. I will never understand how groups like the #DSA, the #IWW, and various anarchist types, etc. who generally take principled and well thought out stances on things they buy just ignore that analysis for technology.

"None of them have shown that they can work with the Democrats in a democratic way."

I think that's almost right, @tomgrzybow.

I think a more accurate statement would be None of them are willing to work with Democrats, full stop.

Republicans are quite explicit about their goal to put party above country: They don't want to govern well; they only want to rule absolutely. Cooperation with Democrats for the good of the nation is, to them, treason.

in reply to Tom Grzybow

Yes. I don't think this will change much after Don The Con loses.

Skeleton Crew will start with two-episode series premiere, streaming December 3 on Disney+.

I admit that this new trailer has finally aroused my curiosity about this new Star Wars series, which looks very different from the others. That's all I ask. Something new and different.

Kamala and I worked like hell to protect the pensions of millions of union workers and retirees – and not a single Republican in Congress voted to join us.

But thanks to that work, over 1.2 million pensions have been protected.

Do any cities besides Paris have their own plaster? Is there a Plaster of Albuquerque?
