I’m really getting tired of corporate mass media. Yeah, there’s some good journalism in there but there are perverse incentives by the barrelful.
After Watergate, the fascists resolved to neuter mainstream journalism so it wouldn’t threaten them again. Fox News, the end of the fairness doctrine, the corporate integration of news organizations into entertainment divisions, all played a hand in that successful endeavor.

Suspected Israeli naval commandos infiltrated Lebanese territory by sea on Friday, kidnapping a man near his home.
Lebanese transport minister Ali Hamie confirmed the incident on Saturday and said security bodies are continuing their investigations.
Hamie told local media that the man, a captain of civilian and commercial ships and a student at a naval institute, was seized against his will approximately 100m from his home.

Thousands of people on Saturday held a rally in the British capital to protest Israeli genocide and demand a total halt of arms shipment to Israel.
A large crowd first staged a die-in protest outside Downing Street, where the Prime Minister's Office is located, to commemorate more than 42,000 Palestinians who have been killed by Israel since October last year.
Later, the protesters started the march from Whitehall to the US Embassy.
