I hate that Dems are like "Set up shop on the high road. Wag your finger. Adhere to norms" while the country burns.
If you want norms to be adhered to, codify them. Otherwise STFU and play the game being played, not the one you want to play.

Follow Packs are just importable groups of recommended accounts. When you load them, they create new lists which follow all of the accounts in the pack. Don't worry if you don't like some of the follows, you can easily remove them from the list or simply unfollow them.
Let's get started.

Now it's time to follow the accounts and create a USPolitics list:
- Click on Preferences (gear) icon on bottom right
- On mobile or narrow desktop click top right "hamburger" button
- Click Import and Export >>> Import
- Import type dropdown: Select “Lists” (NOT “Following list”)
- Verify that ‘Merge’ is selected (IMPORTANT)
- Click Browse... button >>> Select “USPolitics-list.csv”
- Upload >>> Confirm
That's it. Now check your lists for USPolitics and click on it!

You now have a USPolitics pack feed of over 50 great accounts. These are folks who post original content with some boosts.
There are other superb accounts who specialize in boosting. They do the work, so you don't have to. Loading the USPoliticsBooster pack will create a list with over 20 accounts like @blogdiva, @TonyStark, @JonChevreau, @lupus_blackfur who boost tons of great US political posts.

Now check your lists. You will have two new lists USPolitics and USPoliticsBooster that will quickly fill with great content. The booster pack generates A LOT of posts, so if you still use your home feed you might want to eliminate these accounts from that. You can do that by clicking on the USPoliticsBooster list, then the gear icon in the top right, then "Edit list", then toggle "Hide members in Home" above the Save button.

You can do the same thing for two other US politics packs; USPoliticsMedia (csv >>> docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…) which includes over 30 publications like @404mediaco and @CrooksandLiars , and USPoliticsThreads (csv >>> docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…) which contains popular accounts from Threads like @stonekettle and @rudepundit that are visible here on Mastodon. If you don't want to connect with Threads accounts don't load this pack.

A surprise retirement from Intel’s CEO this morning. Intel finalized $7.86B in CHIPS Act funding from the Biden administration last week which is $800M lower than the $8.5B originally announced by Biden.
This has been a year of disappointments for Intel with the stock -48% this year, slashed dividends and over 15,000 job cuts announced.
