This weirdo, Earl.

He lives to be on someone’s body. He’s a barnacle, always looking for a host. And I’m grateful to be that for him.

He follows me around, waiting for me to sit down so he can hop up on my lap and nestle in. And when I go to bed, he curls up with me.

He’s the sweetest little guy. He warms up to everyone who comes into our home. For all of his bad habits, he’s the best.

Den Botaniske Have, Aarhus, Denmark. The botanical gardens, part of Aarhus University. Looking from a high path down and across the amphitheatre. It is late afternoon, December a few years ago, after light snow. The sky is bright blue with a few sparse fluffy white clouds. The sun is strong and low, creating gorgeous, sharp light that makes vivid patterns of brightness and shadow. The snow below us is in deep blue shadow. Beyond and to our left, it is bright white. Across from us, tall mature trees are dusted with snow and glowing in different shades of green and brown. One stands out in the middle, glowing rust-red. The colours look almost fake, for a bare winter park in the Northern hemisphere on a cold winter day.

i just installed #carburetor via apk, started it, opened firefox, went to one of those famous what is my ip, is my vpn safe websites to realize carburetor is doing absolutely nothing!

i am shocked about the how to use writeup on #pmos wiki!
also the #tor writeup got quite weak. Its a bit sad to see that people spread false information.

i will no longer correct the mistakes everytime on this page, its just 🤮

@pocketvj tip: a wiki page is not a "How to use"-writeup. there is a big difference and should be written like a good summary of the topic with many details. Feel free to write How-Tos under your own wiki namespace, but for official wiki articles you could add it as Draft, and let you or somebody else re-phrase it as a wiki article.

I don't f*ck1ng care if it reads like a complicated dissertation and i am sure no new #pmos user will ever get what to do to easy get tor running on their aarch64 #linuxmobile phone.

Maybe we have different interpretations of a good userfriendly wiki 🤷
which of course differs of docs with examples.....

sorry the rude words, wasting energy for such things just upsets me too much.

In defense of the wiki page, there is a warning in the carburetor section that warns about the browser not respecting it directly. And in the browsing section is an example how to set up the proxy.

Jean Prouvé. Chaise Métropole No. 305, 1934.

He was such a visionary.

I yammer on a lot about how art-deco-era design comes down to us as 2 almost diametrically opposed things: the artisanal élite and the affordably mass-produced. The latter won out, both style and concept, but Prouvé seems to have been one of those first-generation synthesists who were able to reconcile all of it, to apply a refined craft and expertise in materials toward a strict new functionalism.

#design

The classic Prouvé chair design 305 - bent wood seat and back, durable steel legs - the backrest and back legs all of of one piece. The mechanics of the chair are not hidden, and the component parts seem simple to the point of brutal, and yet the chair is completely ergonomic and comfortable, while also wildly durable. It's an amazing feat.

The RISC-V SonicBOOM core scores 6.2 CoreMark / MHz, whereas my somewhat recent (Intel) laptop scores 7.1. That's way better for the former than I expected, so I'm getting excited about freedom-respecting chips in the RISC-V ecosystem :blobaww:

Implemented clipboard. For now up to 10 entries. Each field is actually a key, so not only there is a dedicated clipboard layout, but you can also add clipboard keys to any layout in any amount. For convenience the default clioboard has ctrl, a, c, z, x keys.
