Google Photos is getting a new row of shortcuts on iOS.
Google is rolling out a set of shortcuts to the top of the Photos tab that take you to Favorites, Recently Added, Trash, and a recent album, according to 9to5Google.
The outlet reports spotting the change in version 7.11 of the app on iOS, though I don’t see it there quite yet. The change hasn’t made it to the Android version.
My #JollaC2 Community Edition phone is finally fully working and I'm spending a bit of time getting to know it.
I like the physical feel, although some aspects will take a little getting used to (big screen, rounded corners, notch). I do appreciate the subtle touches like "Privacy from Finland" printed on the camera bump. Captures the spirit of #SailfishOS.
Can't deny I'm thrilled to see #Gecko ESR91 running on it.
Now to spend some time getting the software set up just right!

as of right now, about 20% of the messages seem to be talking about how broken it is, looks like the devs have a lot more lipstick yet to smear on that pig

This is an unreliable metric. People are *much* more likely to post when we're irritated by a problem. When tech is working as expected, it becomes invisible and no one posts about it.
How many people have ever posted a comment like 'I use Technology Y and it's doing exactly what I expect, all the time'?
