As we move forward, we must speed up our efforts.
Current policies predict only a 2.6% reduction in emissions by 2030, far from the necessary 28%.

So far, the following has worked for me:
Basics, basics, basics.
Building up the self-study step by step was very important.
I mean, if you want to become a weightlifter, for example, you don't start with 200kg weights on the first day and that's what beginners often do by drawing faces, hands etc.
I can recommend Feng Zhu, who gave me motivation and guidance:

I also added a small overview from 12 years ago which I did for my study :D

I'm 39 now and have been drawing literally my entire life, and designing since I was 14 years old – professionally since I was 19. That's at least 40.000 hours of graphic design experience alone. Of course someone with more experience will know what to do to improve things!
But my philosophy is that "art" is not a matter of comparison, it's not a race, and the only thing that matters is whether you *enjoy* making something or not.

But it can take years of regular, consistent practice to learn how reproduce something accurately and most people just don't have the patience.
I understand how one can feel disheartened by seeing what others are able to do... but we all had to work very hard for it:

in reply to Nela Dunato • • •I'm 64 now and for years I thought being artistic was something I could learn, but I can not. It took my ego until I was in my late 40's to finally admit it and get over myself. I can be absolutely convinced that something I've produced is very good and I'll spend hours and hours - Until someone goes "Hey, that's good! I like it! What if you changed that to x. Hmm. Maybe that would be better as y. Or left. And maybe get rid of that. I think this would be good blue. No. Bluer. Meh. Make it green - yes!" And so on.
I'm not kidding! and then it's completely different and waaay better! I just can't do it out of my own head.
