in reply to Petra Brandström • • •On other platforms it's typically done with a follow/reblog requirement to grow one's following, but on Mastodon people tend to participate and boost in good faith and follows are usually genuine, so those requirements are usually absent on giveaways here.
So, I guess link to your page with the print(s), tell people to comment if they want to enter (perhaps with a formula requirement to help see who's entering and who's just commenting), and ask for but don't require boosts.

in reply to eishiya • • •I should mention - such giveaways seem pretty rare here so my sample size for gauging how it's "usually" done is small. The few I have seen were completely different from what I'd seen on Twitter and the like though.
I wonder if it might not be better to advertise your shop but offer a few community copies for people who can't afford one but would really like one. I've seen that on places like itch.io, feels less random and manipulative than giveaways xP
