In 1994 I was invited along on a ten day trip to Hawaii with my fiancé (now husband), his brother, and parents. I just had to pay for my airfare.
On the big island we of course visited Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. One image that has stuck with me all these years is a single coconut in the middle of a black rolling slope of pahoehoe lava. From this coconut a new palm tree had sprouted. It was defiant in the middle of this landscape.

They come in 4 or 5 normal civil sedans, and then #Hooligans in army-like clothing, their faces masked step out.

She calls them bounty hunters. A claim that they get paid for every non-white person that they deliver to ICE.

The younger kids need extra information on getting trained adults involved. Everyone needs to record all of this, and post it every time it happens.
