Cat picture finished!
A thought about why this was hard for me, which may or may not be interesting / relevant / true.
There are a wide variety of unusual piece shapes (zoom the picture to see).
My mental toolbox for sorting and remembering piece shapes only seems to work with the traditional shapes (ie broadly rectangular with four linking points, innies or outies).
This is, I suspect, because I remember the shapes by analogy with a human torso: skinny person with right shoulder raised, squat person with legs splayed, this sort of thing.
And *none* of this works with non-trad pieces. So, when doing the difficult last third (the brown background) where piece shape was the best approach, I couldn’t retain the shape needed, and kept missing the piece I was looking for.
It did get gradually better over time, so the next one won’t be as hard, I think.

I'm freshly returned from the morning's errands. (bank stuff) I forgot my Handy at home, so no "chillin' at the #FuckNazis bench" post, tho I did.
I also called the scoot-chair people about the duck (it goes quack quack quack as I tootle) and rattle (it sounds like it's shaking apart going over cobbles).
The daily ritual blasphemy has also been completed, and a fresh cuppa steeps.

The rattling sounds like loose fittings in the front linkage and/or steering column.
They're coming on Friday for hers, which can't be done "in the field", so they'll at least look at mine, and hopefully take a test drive.

I bought a puzzle a while ago, but with the space I have, I'll also need a good rolling-up mat to be able to dismiss it when I need my table. Bit seeing this puzzle makes me eager to get to mine. Maybe I can get a mat soon. 😊

I did see a nice one with good reviews, but of course the ones with the better reviews and durability aren't the cheapest ones.
But I did get the puzzle, so it's waiting for me to get to it. 😊
I always cry my eyes out with the movie Dumbo, but I do love that little elephant. If I ever get the puzzle done, I'd love to get it framed to hang in the hallway.
