I should add: given that I’ve never gone a day without straight privilege (apart from occasional impertinent questions about my periods of celibacy i guess) - and am now unlikely to ever be in a sexual/romantic relationship again due to my disability/living circumstances - I’m not seriously attempting to claim community with LGBTQIA folks who have to deal with a whole bunch of crap I don’t have to.
