#Journal of a slightly busy Dutch Pixy (Friday, 03/10/2025).

I had an OK enough night, didn't even have the worst dreams. The scale wasn't being too kind to me. Weight was "ok" I guess but it showed different fat and muscle stats. 😔 Ah well... I got dressed, took my meds, packed my bag and headed to Skoosh.

We got to the gym, where I enjoyed my protein drink before I went to the seated bike. I wanted to ride for half an hour. But after 28 minutes my tummy needed some serious attention, so I had to stop and take care of that. I used the massage chair and after that, I headed back home.

I relaxed a bit and then I changed the bedding on my bed. It's always hard work, so I was glad when I was done. I put the big dog bed out for Bas. I got the washing machine ready, so it could run when the energy would be cheaper again. Then I unloaded the dishwasher. After that, I worked on my blog. I finished a post I had been working on and I worked on some ofter settings to get the laptop back to "how I need it to be".

I went upstairs and managed to ride the home trainer for 45 minutes. Yay me! 😁 I went back down, had brekky, and relaxed a bit. Then I hoovered the downstairs area. I started the washing machine and grabbed my bag to walk to the store.

When I got what I needed, I walked back again. The washing machine was done, so I took the bits upstairs to hang it out to dry. After that, I needed to relax so I would not be too tired when my friend would arrive. I worked a little on my blog, until she texted that she was on the parking.

We chatted for a while about things and then mum came with Bas. When mum headed home, we walked a short round with Bas so he could get his sniffs in. After that, I tried to relax on the couch and I made some food.

I was rather tired, and they had started the first work on the street part in front of the house... Front Monday on, it will be quite messy and loud here, even worse than it's been, as the garden isn't that deep, so working on the street means they're very close to the house.

I got ready to head to bed. After a bit, Bas found where he wanted to sleep. But every time I woke up, he was all excited. And I kept telling him to sleep some more. About an hour before the alarm was set, I woke up again. Bas was really jumpy now, so I thought that maybe he needed to go out for a wee or something. So I got to the scale, I got dressed, took my meds and we started our "day".
