Sunset-lit clouds this evening above Silksworth Pond in Sunderland, NE England. The location is part of a large landscape reclamation scheme that took place after the closure of Silksworth Colliery in the 1960's. As well as an artificial ski-slope, there were numerous other leisure and sports amenities created. Two ponds, fed by a natural water course, added another dimension to the reclaimed landscape.

There is currently a scammer posing as a server admin telling people to temporarily change their Mastodon account's email to an address supplied by the scammer. This is a scam, don't do it.
