Ich fand Merkel menschlich immer ziemlich in Ordnung.
Sie war auch sicher die einzige Person im Chefsessel in den letzten gut 40 Jahren, der man keine persönliche Korruption vorwerfen kann.
Ändert nichts daran, dass ihre Politik in vielen Bereichen (z.B. Umwelt, Soziales, Staatspolitik) völlig ambitionslos und in der Folge fatal war.

in reply to Mina • • •Mich interessiert sie nur am Rande. Ja, wahrscheinlich kann man mit ihr einen netten Abend verbringen. Aber das ist nichts, was mich wirklich betrifft. Die Auswirkungen der Politik haben mich ganz real betroffen und tun es noch.
Nebenbei: "Wir schaffen das!" zu verkünden und dann das ganze anderen zu überlassen, war einfach falsch. Es gibt Dinge, die sehr wohl administrativ entschieden werden können. Aufenthalts- und Arbeitsbewilligungen dürfen so vergeben werden. Was in den USA 'executive order' heißt, heißt preußisch 'Erlass' und ist ein gangbarer Weg.
