I have a feeling the only reason they're not interfering it is because it'd be like aiming a RPG at their own feet if they did, they're already censoring any Lemmy links, goes to show how anxious they are

Ideally, people should replace #Reddit with #Lemmy, for which I recommend the Sopuli instance by @Rynach sopuli.xyz/?dataType=Post&list… which I subscribe to via Patreon. Its uptime is good and the admin responsive.

I'm glad that #Reddit will not be providing #Twitter free promotion with subreddits banning links and in some cases screenshots to the site

Reddit won’t interfere with users revolting against X with subreddit bans

give it a couple of days and I'm sure they will change the tune as some "ambassador" will "change their mind".

Twitter is a cesspool of hatred and Nazis. Is fucking garbage.

dear Arstechnica, a note from a long time paying reader here: writing "appeared to make a nazi salute" is cowardly and dishonest. He did make a nazi salute, there was nothing "appearing" in it. Please have a dignity to call things what they are, we can't afford to stay neutral, avert our eyes and hide behind ambiguous language anymore.

When ** Reddit ** of all platforms thinks Twitter has too many fascists & bigots...wow
