I relied on todo.txt for a long time, and still use it for some computer-related one-off tasks. But most of my TODOs are in the tasks.org android app. Tasks.org contains personal/offline tasks, and also a 'Shopping' task list that I share with my partner via self-hosted CalDAV server.

Taskwarrior looks interesting, but todo.txt syncs with Markor on Android, and I find mobile sync important for a todo app.

Great combo with timewarrior.

in reply to πππππβππ‘ππ • • •I tried taskwarrior for a few days, I also tried nextcloud decks but I can't handle Todo lists.
Mostly I use my brain and browser tabs. Most of my tasks are in a Ticketsystem so having the ticket open as a browser tab helps me to not forget about it.
Todo lists for me are something more to do every day. You have to fill them and read them and decide if a task is done. And if you get feedback that the task needs more work you have to re-add it to the list.

Unknown parent • • •my way isn't really good. But that's how it works for me somehow.
At the moment I struggle with the brain part. I forget too many tasks. Sometimes I know there was something but I can't find a browser tab for it because it was an email.
So I love to see other people's workflow to find ways to optimize my own.
