It’s too hot and humid to spend the afternoon outdoors like I wish I could do.

If this weren’t the case, I’d love to sit in one of these chairs and do some people and dog watching.

Two wooden Algonquin, or possibly Muskoka, chairs, one pink and one blue-green, are sitting just off of the boardwalk down by Lake Ontario. There are large trees nearby that are providing dappled shade. It’s such a comfortable place to sit. The gentle curve in the back of the chair fits my back perfectly.

Those chairs are the best. I read recently that Adirondack chairs were originally developed for maximum rest while still sitting up, as people convalesced.
