Ended the day back in Perugia, Umbria, Italy on 20 Oct 2024. Visited the nearby Cuparella Park and saw some flowers: a White Campion (Silene latifolia) and a Mallow (genus Malva). Also saw a magnificent sunset from a popular spot above the park: others were also there to get shots.

"Cuparella Park
The park’s paths through the garden connect Via Pellini with Via della Cupa above, which can be reached via the steps along the walls. In this public green area it is possible to admire significant sections of the mighty Etruscan wall, built of travertine blocks and dating back to the 3rd century B.C. It is interesting to note that only in this precise point of the city does the medieval wall coincide with the Etruscan wall; you can tell them apart from the different size of the stones.
Nestled between the lower blocks is a small secondary passageway reserved for pedestrians, called a “postierla” [“back door”], and dating back to the Etruscan period. The Tuscan landscape architect Pietro Porcinai contributed to the realisation of the area in the 1950s. He organised the particularly steep, and hitherto impassable, space by creating terraces connected by easily accessible paths.
