Looking for (almost) basic #Linux (X11) #AudioCD #player. That is, just play control buttons, CDDB lookup (preferably automatic, with cache), title display and song list, and… that's it. alsaplayer
, but with CDDB support would be near perfect.
What I'm specifically not interested in:
- music library-centred solutions, having also AudioCD support (I have QuodLibet and MPD already)
- commandline/TUI (wife unfriendly)
- rippers
- mounting as bunch of
.wav
-s - generic all-media players, where AudioCD is buried deeply in “select source” dialogs
Just put the disc in, see the titles displayed, press play, hear #music. Bonus points for being in Debian/Devuan. I remember there was a bunch of such programs back in the day, where are they now?
