DisplayPort vs. HDMI: Which Is Better For Gaming? Don't Just Stick With What You've Always Known

in reply to GaMaL AdeL

@GaMaL AdeL I'd be interested to hear why you say that? I just chose DisplayPort for the better throughput speed. Did I make a mistake? I know HDMI does support longer lengths of cable, but I'm really needing 2m.

"HDMI 2.0b and earlier are 'worse' in some ways compared to DisplayPort 1.4, but if you're not trying to run at extremely high resolutions or refresh rates, you probably won't notice the difference."

If you want to use high Hz, it is in my case Displayport. I have a 240 Hz screen, and 240 Hz works in that case only with displayport.

Its allways the question what do you want to do.

@gweep yes very true like TV's mostly only have HDMI so that would be the choice there.
