I'm trying to rehome these Totoro slippers fast.
I know people who sell these sorts of collectibles for good money.
I am terrible at selling things, even when I could use the financial boost.
But I have to get rid of stuff swiftly in order to fit into the new house in less than two months.
I am feeling overwhelmed. I am also feeling sad that I may have to throw out things just because I don't have the time to place them with people who will appreciate them.
sigh!

I don't have much choice unless people start stepping forward.

Someone says they will be coming around to pick these up for their daughter today. Fingers-crossed they actually turn up. I get no-shows on regular occasion.

Oh, I would love those, but I'm a little too far away...😥

@redj 18 Nope. But they say they are still interested. Maybe come later today.

And they didn't come today as promised, but say they would like to try coming by tomorrow. sigh!

perhaps pay international shipping and get da slippers. i had considered it.

You could give them to a charity shop. No more hassle for you. Some stranger will find them and be thrilled; it will make their day.

@fionag11 The opshop/charity shop near us puts all the toys on a table by the pavement where all the local toddlers play with them, leaving the toys a mess before anyone even buys anything.

In the end I found someone who was so excited to pick them up as a Christmas present for their daughter who is crazy for Totoro!
