It doesn't help the case if don't rephrase her rightly. Strange moment, strange word, but she called those leaders 'rats'. For me as a follower, it makes it harder to reboost your posts, as I don't know if your interpretation of a situation is adequate and fully according facts.

So are the subtitles wrong? Because, if we’re for some reason nitpicking the crap out of a bigot’s bigotry, the subtitles show her addressing Arab viewers and quoting “every dog gets its own”. Thereby equating Arabs to dogs, before clarifying that they’re more like rats. If the subtitles are wrong, blame that, not the original poster. And there’s something to be said for missing the forest for the trees.

@aral
The subtitles are accurate. She talks about dogs generally and only calls Sinwar specifically a rat. (I am a German native speaker.)

@aral @avlap2 It's horrible, but she's clearly saying Nasrallah and Sinwar are the dogs/rats (or anyone that's a "terrorist" in Israel's eyes). The guy saying don't oversell it is right.
in reply to Aral Balkan

@aral @avlap2 More like halfway through ...to say, don't be a dog/rat like the two Hamas leaders she's referring to because we always get our man. Anyways

What you said is NOT a restatement of what she said in the clip (neither in original nor in subtitle). It is simply your GUESS of what her INTENT was.

It is also perfectly reasonable to ASSUME that she equates terrorists and dogs. After all, terrorists are the subject of the clip. And what would be the purpose of warning the German Arabs about what happens to "dogs" if they were already "dogs" in her mind.

@denki @VulcanTourist @kerubo @avlap2 Hey Tobias, quick question: why do you think she’s warning German Arabs and not Germans in general? Aren’t German Arabs just, y’know, Germans? Do you think it’s maybe because she’s a racist piece of shit defending a country that’s actively engaged in carrying out a genocide?

Unless the subtitling is wrong in translation - and one person confirmed it's not - then I already knew what was said, and that is what I restated. I'm autistic, and I'm not that literal, even I can read through the thin line of what was said to divine the intent.

She might be racist or not, I can't tell from the short clip. I don't think she considers all (German) Arabs terrorists though. @VulcanTourist @kerubo @avlap2 @ayoub

@kerubo @denki @VulcanTourist @avlap2 You know what, I’m going to save my “benefit of the doubt” for people who don’t call other people dogs and rats while defending a literal fucking genocide.

For context: That TV channel ”Welt“ (German for ”world“) is a right-wing anti-immigrant propaganda channel, and part of the disgusting Axel Springer press. It’s not much different from Fox News in the US. That channel plays a huge role in pushing Germany back to fascism.
