My friend @Lazarou
Made a very profound point upon noticing whom the Labour Party seems to be most attacking: the Green Party, that is
He said, "The Labour Party are more concerned about another left wing party, then they are about a racist party."
Once you see this, you can never unsee this.
Gosh!

Watch out for labour's version of hasbara to start about the Greens - it started before the vote with starmer accusing them of intending to legalise heroin and crack cocaine ffs. Talk about running scared, lol!

Do you know how to set up questionnaires on here? I don't know how yet, but I'm going to try to put one up, asking 'How would you vote today?', with Labour, Green, Reform, Tory, None of the above, tick boxes - just to get a feeling of political leanings on Mastodon - should be interesting...

the technicality is not an issue - it's the little bargraph symbol somewhere on your field to type posts - it's that your response is determined by your reach in terms of followers and those who boost it.
Also, different apps have more or less options on #poll you can post

try clicking on it. I went to investigate the start of the conversation. I have no idea of their posting matetrial or style. Curious though. mastodon.social is a much more "tolerant" instance than I am on!

The Green party is the only left wing party I can think of

that consistent behaviour from UK Labour is evidence, of the incontrovertible kind, that UK Labour is a conservative party aligned with their friends the fascists, and directly opposes your progressive political movement and the party leading that.

in reply to Totts • • •well yes
Labour's core belief is that _they_ are the one-stop shop for delivering political change, their party are the gatekeepers of left-wing political activity
So the success of any other left-wing party is an existential threat to them - as is electoral reform that would effectively eliminate any future Labour majority government. They'd rather lose to the Tories most of the time than be a major partner in a coalition most of the time.

What naturally SHOULD be happening is a left wing party, or a party that claims to be left wing, should be attacking Reform, a right wing party and not another left wing party
