The venn diagram of the "spare the rod and spoil the child" people and the "threatening to bomb a country into the stone age is good and moral foreign policy" people is a circle.

It's the same error in the nature of power, in the exercise of control. The same confusion between might and destructive chaos.

Beating your child is child abuse. But if that doesn't convince you not to do it for some reason (very strange that this wouldn't end the discussion... but OK) it's also NOT EFFECTIVE. It doesn't do what it claims. Other methods of enforcing boundaries are more effective.

Beating your child won't keep them from getting pregnant as a teen or ending up in prison. It won't prove that you love them. It just shows you get angry and can not control that anger. It's bad parenting.

All I ever learned from my dad was that it was dangerous to disagree with him in any way because I had the bruises all over my sternum from him poking me in the chest while he was yelling at me. So I ceased to ever share any opinions with him and I learned he was not worthy of my respect. It wasn't a beating but it was enough to see who he was.

Why do you (all of you) enter into a discussion about comparing pure fascist behavior with violence against children?

You are normalizing the fact that a (your) president, a war criminal that gives a f*** about (your) laws and constitution, representing the most weaponized and violent country on earth, threatens the sh** out of the whole world, out of each and every country.

For if you are not aware, the entire world is observing the society of the US, how it handles and comes to terms with its abhorrent behavior while killing people when ever they want and where ever they want.

Stop normalizing by arguing the unthinkable.
The world wont accept your export of mass shooting and death penalty sentences all around the world and it will blame it on you as a whole, on you as a society, on you as people and on you as persons.

Unless you declare it "unthinkable" (undenkbar), german for something you do not think, nor do, nor talk about and their for not normalize, you are doomed to become part of it.

Don't call the 25'th, call for prosecution of all the war criminals, each and everyone who helps and helped him, follows and followed his orders.
Anything else is accepting and subscribing what happened and is still about to happen, justifying similar acts in the future.
