I've distanced myself from my past because they did not appreciate me. I cared too much. I poured into cups that wasn't pouring into mine. I changed my boundaries & I'm careful on who I call a friend nowadays. As a giver, I learned to set limits because the takers rarely do. Pulling away is one of the best things I've ever done. Ironically, when I withdrew from people? That's when they became more curious about me and regret how they treated me. The audacity lol. So let me get this straight. When I was in their life, they took me for granted, treated me awfully and tried to do everything they could to destroy. Now that I cut off access to me? All of sudden they are watching more trying to figure out what I'm up to? Strange lol, it's wild that not reacting, going silent on them and withdrawing makes their curiosity get the better of them. I'm better off without them in my life, and my chapter in their books are closed. Landed here to start over on everything.
