"What's stopping you from using Linux" posted by people who meticulously researched every piece of hardware in their desktop to ensure it had top tier support within the Linux ecosystem. A task most people could not do.
There's so many Linux takes that go like "This just KILLED Desktop Linux" and then it's something about a change to systemd or whatever. Then non-Linux users who see that from the sidelines also think they have to understand these under-the-hood things to figure out how to use the OS.
I mostly care about my PC booting up, running the things I want to run, and not crashing. I've installed POP OS about 2 yrs ago and only tinkered slightly with the Desktop Environment. That's all.
@fancysandwiches @Linux_in_a_Bit The Wayland + NVIDIA issue was solved with the most recent NVIDIA driver update, quite a unique situation since Wayland is a huge tech change for the Linux space
@Linux_in_a_Bit Right, installing Linux isn't particularly difficult, it'll install on practically anything. Getting it to run in a stable manner? A whole different game. I had a pile of people recommend Bazzite to me. It was broken out of the box because Wayland doesn't really support Nvidia (should be fixed soon though), and X11 was entirely broken on Fedora as well.
@Linux_in_a_Bit I'm planning on giving it a go soon, but at this point I'm genuinely skeptical because I've been hearing that it's fixed or will be fixed for over a decade now. The whole explicit sync thing does seem like it will be the final nail in the coffin though, so I am at least optimistic now.

And sadly communicates that Linux is only for people with a taste of text only applications.

Standard WIMP interface with menu at bottom. Pinned items for Chrome, Discord, Spotify, VSCode and a terminal.
KDE Neon is sooo user friendly! I don't even think of running Linux anymore, I just use my computer.

On a more serious note, I suspect the lack of "industry standard" software like Adobe Photoshop is one huge obstacle to Linux adoption.
