These are "issue" peas. They were used as a means to counter irritation by being placed inside a running sore or ulcer, to promote secretion and discharge of pus. The name is misleading as they aren't actually peas but dried immature fruit from the orange family.

I have a facsimile print of the "Heidelberg Book of Destiny" (CPG 832 and CPG 833) where there is explicitly mentioned the "ascending sign".
In 1892, Assistant light keeper Rose, wading through swampy waters between the keepers’ cottages and the light tower, was attacked by a crocodile. He climbed one of the light station’s telegraph poles and was rescued by the head keeper in a dingy.

Lawson’s, a convenience store in Japan, has begun selling Nomu mayo, a drinkable mayonnaise, forgetting the important adage: all mayo is drinkable if you believe in yourself. (When I first read this headline, I nearly choked on my mug of ranch dressing...)

(adj.)
- Extremely exhausted after physical exertion.
From Middle English “forswinke” from “swink” & “swincum” (physical labor, hard work, toil).
Used in a sentence:
“Remind me to never again challenge those surprisingly farouche malaperts to a feisty bout of gelatin grappling; I’m absolutely forswunke.”

Have you made sure your default posting visibility is correct?
This is the visibility setting that all your new posts have, unless you manually change that post's setting when writing it.
Some people set default to be "followers only" and forget about it, then are surprised no one can see their posts except followers. It can also go the other way, people being surprised their posts are public.
Here's how to check and set your default post visibility:

"But what doesn’t work is ”blocked domains” setting."
Why is it, when I <ctrl-f> Search that page, I find neither "block" "blocked" or "domain"?
Curious...
cc @FediTips
Blocking is a separate issue from visibility settings, that's why it's not on that page.
Visibility settings determine who can see a post by default (public, followers-only or specific people?).
Blocking is about who can see your public posts and interact with them, and who can follow you. This is more complicated and has its own guides:

Samarran Ceramic Plate (5000 BC); from Samarra, Mesopotamia - modern-day Iraq.
Here women stand in quadrants, their hair whirling in four winds, circled by a ring of scorpions.
Samarra, a neolithic town created a long line of splendid painted ceramics and female figurines. The Samarran Period (6500-6000 BC) is known for its finely made pottery decorated with animals, birds, and geometric designs.

A ruins of street at the ancient city of Mohenjodaro (Mound of the Dead), an archaeological (Indus Valley Civilization) site, flourished around 2600-1900 BC, now in Pakistan.
Mohenjo-daro has a planned layout with rectilinear buildings arranged on a grid plan. Most were built of fired and mortared brick; some incorporated sun-dried mud-brick and wooden superstructures. The covered area of Mohenjo-daro is estimated at 300 hectares.
