Update: Okay, that’s enough now. Thanks, all.
Good morning, #AskFedi
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good employment solicitor with experience in disability rights and the Equality Act? England only, please.

Prince Andrew must face a proper, thorough investigation into his alleged involvement in the sexual abuse of young women and girls connected to Jeffrey Epstein, Losing titles or public shame is not enough, Any investigation should examine the full scope of his behaviour, whether it was limited to Epstein’s island or possibly involved other victims, and be guided by evidence, not just public opinion.
Trump may be doing everything possible to avoid justice, but his fall is coming, That cannot excuse inaction in the UK, We cannot allow politicians to cozy up to him or turn a blind eye because of privilege or fear,
UK law allows courts to prosecute certain sexual offences committed abroad by UK nationals or residents, especially where victims are underage, traffice and or groomed. No one should be above the law, royal or not, Justice for survivors matters everywhere.

I've just been told by my grandson that an area of Preston, Ingol has been closed down due to explosives being found at a property.
My grandson has been told that there are at least 10 ambulances, lots of police vans and army explosives team in the vicinity.
Edit: thanks! Now I have to make one of the solutions work on the computer if it lets me D:
Asking in English in hope that it'll reach more people! I'm french, windows user and unfortunately not playing locally. Do you know of some software a deafie could use to game with her pals? One that could transcript what people say in their mics? Not necessarily free, I'm willing to pay for something that works well.
Asking for a me.

The spiders are flying tonight!
No, that isn't a spies introductory code phrase!
We have just walked home from the local restaurant, and we had to keep stopping because we could feel spiders webs across our faces, when we brushed the thread off we could feel several more lifting off our hair!
There was a 'womp' sound from the yard. I looked out the window.
Where the large pile of leaves had been, a dragon sat.
"Oi!" I called.
"The hoard was unguarded," the dragon said. "I claim it."
Every damn year. It'll leave once the leaves lose their golden hue. Meanwhile, I can't order takeaway.

I've known that the local supermarket has done boxes of vegetables, past their best but still edible) for £2 but I've never seen them before.
Now I know why - this is what we got today!

The first self-propelled wheelchair was invented in 1655 by Stephen Farfler (1633-1689). Farfler had broken his back as a child, and this had rendered him paralyzed from the waist down.
At the age of 22, Farfler used his expertise as a clockmaker to create a wheeled chair that would allow him to move independently. The frame was based on a three-wheel chassis and worked by turning handles attached to a geared front wheel using a system of cranks and cogwheels.

If you work on the shop floor for Tescos full time, your salary is so low that you qualify for Universal Credit to top up your wages..
Tescos get to pay low wages, and keep the rest for shareholders, whilst you and I pay the difference from our tax.

I was more thinking that those basic requirements for life should also not depend on full time employment. They should be a right. Universal income needs to happen.

I think most analysts quote 1979 as the turning point.
Prior to this, it was the norm for a single wage earner's income to be able to support a wife and two kids, and a house, etc.
