So, at my church, one large wing of the building is dedicated to childcare. I don't have any kids, but I'm sure they do a great job. They seem very dedicated.
But anyway, I can't help but smirk a little every time I glance that way, because there's a large label above the door on the lower level that says "BIRTH-KINDER" (the upstairs door says "GRADES 1-6").
So, I have a little mental dialogue that goes something like this:
CHILD: "Daddy, where do children come from?"
FATHER: "From the BIRTH-KINDER, of course. Your mother and I ordered you online and picked you up once the BIRTH-KINDER instrument had manufactured you."
Sorry, just a random glimpse into my gently-twisted mind. XD

Is there a way to mute or block hashtags in Friendica?
If someone I follow (occasionally) posts a lot of items with a hashtag I am not interested in, but I still want to see what other things they are saying, can I get friendica to mute or block specific hashtags?

I've just sent another letter to my local MP, to which I will not receive a reply as he has not replied to the last few emails that I have sent!

Dear MP,
As we are usually told, ignorance of the law is no defence!
We saw that Angela Rayner who took advice about her house purchase had to resign because the advice she was given, which she had asked for, was incorrect!
Yet the chancellor, who proudly boasted about bringing laws in that require landlords to get licences from local councils to protect tenants, did not know that the house that she was letting was covered by such a requirement.
Why is she not resigning or being required to resign?
Is it because one was not a right wing Labour MP and the other was?

NHS App problems?
has the way you logon to the NHS app changed?
My wife's hasn't, but mine has!
NHS app now tells me I should use Chrome browser (haven't used that for years) then asks me to prove I'm human by choosing set of pictures!
I don't update android apps from the Google playstore where the app won't upload, but from the Aurora app store, and I wonder if this is "The Do Evil Corp" trying to make everyone use them.

Just watched a UFC fight and the fight was stopped due "accidental injury"the challenger poking his opponent in both eyes!

When I was young, it was always a turnip lantern at this time of year.
