Because life is hell, Uncle's supplier for his incontinence supplies, #Edgepark, has AGAIN failed to ship them for 11 days, claiming AGAIN that they are waiting for insurance authorization, when the authorization which finally got them to ship last month is still in effect. Nothing has changed.
This is a staggering amount of bureaucracy and incompetence, all rolled up into one, gigantic ball of capitalist bullshit.
I'm so tired.

Remember my long thread last month which was (in part) about dealing with a durable medical equipment supplier failing to ship Uncle his incontinence supplies and the hours I spent trying to get that straightened out?
Well, guess what, they didn't ship in June or July either, and now my uncle is completely out of supplies again.
(continued)

Six months after I reported to Uncle's insurance company that a doctor was submitting fraudulent claims to them about treatment not actually being provided to Uncle, the claims continue to be submitted.
I just reached out to two different practices I think the doctor may be affiliated with and told them that if I don't hear back from him ASAP with an explanation I'm going to file a fraud complaint with the state department of health.
We'll see what that shakes loose.
