One of my favourite dolmens even if its not very authentic. It collapsed in a storm in 1815 and was re-erected nine years later, but some of the stones were damaged so it's not how it was originally. I love the local landscape though, and this angle which frames the cornish engine house is perfect. So much so that I once tried to capture it in felt.

#StandingStoneSunday! A late #neolithic
statue-menhir found at Rottenburg-Lindele, dating 3250-3000 BC. It is considered one of the oldest anthropomorphic stone sculptures from southern Germany and was reused as a cover for a grave in the 8th/7th century BC.

sundial a top of a mysterious stone at that St Tysilio church with the circular graveyard i mentioned last week. the only info i could find called it an "early stone". maybe remains of a stone cross or earlier.
