The epitaph I left on my #twitter gravestone (I quitted in november 2023 after six years, deleted everything and then reopened the account just to lock my username).
No regrets ever since, although sometime I miss some of the sparkling debates and friends I had there.
The best thing about mastodon is that you need at least 3 braincells to set up an account, which instantly excludes at least half of the Twitter/X userbase.

Shows both new and returning users rate per month in the top Mastodon servers. Both numbers. This flow feels akin to what I see on many other social platforms, and appears like a healthy pattern to my analysis.
