On Tuesday, staff at the British Museum were reportedly told there would be a large corporate event that evening.
They said they were asked to leave work early.
The event, was no corporate affair. This clandestine party had been organised by the Israeli embassy to celebrate the anniversary of Israel's 77th Independence Day.
The keynote speech was given by Israeli ambassador Tzipi Hotovely, who once called the Nakba an "Arab lie".

I just read the book and it's so beautiful and strange. Very symbolic. It's all about mortality/immortality and perfection/imperfection. So much longing. But also fun and funny. Very interested in unicorns now.

I'm liking the zero pressure approach. Making some changes, and rediscovering the rough edges of sketches. I've been "finishing" too much. Need to relearn that rough and dynamic doesn't always mean unfinished. I spent far too many hours trying to "finish" this, only to like the rough sketch a lot more. So, I'm embracing it.
