He also nipped over to NZ where he met with our cooker of a foreign minister Winston Peters in the Beehive, then announced that the FBI was opening an office in Wellington.

Patel said it was to counter the Chinese threat. Peters later said they never spoke about China. Someone is being shifty.

NZ does not need Trump-aligned, domestic US law enforcement on our soil.

Brown is the latest elite university to cave to Trump. This is a line-in-the-sand moment for higher education. Every university in the country is watching. Every student, faculty member, and alumni network should be watching, too. We cannot let this become the new normal: indivisible.org/resource/elite…

Is it primarily the Ivy League schools, catering mostly to the rich, who are the main appeasers in academia? Seems so.

The image features a stylized illustration with a blue background. At the center, there are three figures depicted from a top-down perspective, each engaged with a large open book. The figures are simplified, with circular heads and minimalistic clothing, emphasizing their interaction with the text. The figure on the left is wearing a beige top and gray pants, the one in the middle is in a gray top, and the figure on the right is in a white top with a bun hairstyle. The book pages are white with black lines, suggesting text, and the figures' hands are positioned as if they are reading or discussing the content. In the top right corner, there is a white circle with a black "V" inside, likely representing the logo of "de Volkskrant." Below the figures, the text "de Volkskrant Elke Dag" is prominently displayed in white and black, indicating the name of the publication and its frequency.
