Working on a video about the cancer of culture, this "racism", division, hate, violence, groups and separation. And I feel like I should give up. Just drive with the motorhome to some nature places and focus on positive things because this world is really insane.

Likely I will finish the script, but honestly the state of the world today is like metastasized cancer. Seems incurable.

Sad because we are all one species with the greatest history in the entire universe. How we evolved, how connected we are, how capable we can be.

But what can you expect from a trade based society where humans are consuming idiots in a race to accumulate more and more. Mindless. Zombies. Robots that have no purpose other than that of being a tool in a consumerist society.

Let Me Go Mad in My Own Way

After Mother’s burial in a freakish sunshine that was followed by a violent purple hail, Brian and Conor filled in the grave with two long spades. They cast the black earth into the hole. Father watched on. Conor was stoic and threw his black necktie over one shoulder as he set to shovelling spade after Read original article: Read More

Here’s what’s making us happy this week.

The theme this week is running-up-that-hill. Here at Lit Hub, we’re questing for answers. In the Kingdom of Hollownest, or ancient Egypt. We’re trying to keep the dream alive while that big wheel keeps on turning. And we’re accepting invitations to look backwards—if only to prepare for what’s ahead. After receiving his first “ever-ever” gaming Read original article: Read More

I like looking at approval ratings to remind myself I live in a liberal bubble. A good example is that Trump's approval ratings this year are higher than what Biden's were last year.

Basically, if the election happened today, Trump likely would win again as he's still more popular now than the Biden administration was then.

This week’s news in Venn diagrams.

Welcome, officially, to the first Friday of spooky season. The stores are full of candy for sale and those giant yard skeletons are starting to unfurl themselves. Hope you’re starting to feel the vibes and already have some great costume ideas—never too early to starting planning. Have a great weekend to rest your bones, and Read original article: Read More
