Ich fand Merkel menschlich immer ziemlich in Ordnung.
Sie war auch sicher die einzige Person im Chefsessel in den letzten gut 40 Jahren, der man keine persΓΆnliche Korruption vorwerfen kann.
Γndert nichts daran, dass ihre Politik in vielen Bereichen (z.B. Umwelt, Soziales, Staatspolitik) vΓΆllig ambitionslos und in der Folge fatal war.
Mich interessiert sie nur am Rande. Ja, wahrscheinlich kann man mit ihr einen netten Abend verbringen. Aber das ist nichts, was mich wirklich betrifft. Die Auswirkungen der Politik haben mich ganz real betroffen und tun es noch.
Nebenbei: "Wir schaffen das!" zu verkΓΌnden und dann das ganze anderen zu ΓΌberlassen, war einfach falsch. Es gibt Dinge, die sehr wohl administrativ entschieden werden kΓΆnnen. Aufenthalts- und Arbeitsbewilligungen dΓΌrfen so vergeben werden. Was in den USA 'executive order' heiΓt, heiΓt preuΓisch 'Erlass' und ist ein gangbarer Weg.

I bought a pair of over-the-knee-length chicken-feet-and-leg socks for Halloween because they were hilarious and I just couldn't resist. If I didn't have such big flat feet (I have to wear men's sizes because the women's are all too dainty π), I'd be wearing them all the time. π€£
