I've decided to be a responsible #indiedev today and fix bugs rather then playing WoW. My day:

P.S. It should be noted that "dogs" are demon dogs from hell.

#CMSPaper 1340: are invisible particles (like #darkmatter) produced together with bottom quarks? This is the first-ever search at LHC checking for dark matter signatures in b jet events, using angles (plot) and missing energy, but no sign of DM, sadly💔 buff.ly/4edOA5s

Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss figured out how to make a heptadecagon (a symmetrical 17-sided shape) & used it to solve a 2,000-year-old problem. He was 18. And he considered this his greatest achievement. scientificamerican.com/article…

Is there a #Linux #desktop #app like #URLChecker?

github.com/TrianguloY/UrlCheck…

On #Android, #URL Checker displays all #links I click on (outside of a #browser) so I can make sure #tracking parameters are removed, redirects are resolved, etc. before visiting it.

I want the same thing for my desktop!

"Lemniscating"

Another math-meditation, this time over lemniscate spirals, bells and an ambient sound...

Inspired by @fractalkitty 🙂

In my series of Tooll3 point generators, today I created first a lemniscate, but then extended it to be able to create lemnispirals by varying the radius over time.

By the way, the guy who forked Mastodon is also on the Fediverse. I bet he has many interesting stories from that time. @0461fcbecc4c3374439932d6b8f11269ccdb7cc973ad7a50ae362db135a474dd

A sign I’ve arrived in an advanced #transit society: the first thing I see outside my hotel window is overhead wires for the city buses.
