What a week!

I discovered the FediForum unconference on Mastodon and spent the next three days learning about ActivityPub, web fingers and hooks, and the history and politics of federated social media from some of the originators. I’ll have to level up my technical skills, again. I spent a few hours finding, learning about, and following folks across Mastodon instances and then closing scores of tabs.

New blog post! This time I'm taking a look at fonts. I ran into a floppy disk containing a pair of extremely cute dingbat fonts - a tokusatsu helmet alphabet, and a set of decorative lucha mask characters. They're well-designed and very detailed.

The fact that Vance has three biracial kids whose grandparents are immigrants makes his libel more vulgar and repugnant, not less. Eight years ago, he condemned this sort of bigotry. He knows how dangerous it is. He’s just decided that his ambition is more important.

@jds Thanks. And the thing is, this doesn’t even do it justice! Gloomy clouds all evening with thunder and wind, but the sun snuck in at the very end to paint everything golden. These are the sights I miss during the daytime.

A ce que j'ai compris, cette instance allemande d'invidious dispose d'un script qui modifie automatiquement le proxy.... suffit de patienter 2mn et la vidéo est dispo. D'ailleurs, vaut mieux éviter de vouloir recharger la page web, le changement de proxy est auto.
