Any idea what's wrong with #GTK4 on #Debian 13 trixie?
When I start gtk3-demo-application, it respects my dark desktop theme, and I can paste text with ctrl-v.
However, gtk4-demo-application uses a light theme and ctrl-v does not show any effect. Other gtk4 applications are affected, too.
Thanks for any help!
if you're using a dark theme, it needs to support both GTK3 and GTK4; if you're using the dark color scheme setting, then GTK by itself has no knowledge of it.
You may be using an environment that sets both the dark color scheme for libadwaita applications, and a dark theme for GTK3 applications, but does not support GTK4 applications.
