@gregr Oui, c'est pas mal et les images sont jolies (mais les profondeurs indiquées en pieds me donnent envie d'envahir le pays qui fait cela et de leur imposer le système métrique par la force).

Since 2010, the average sea level at the Fort Pulaski Georgia gauge has risen by 7.3 inches (ca. 19 cm), one of the fastest rates in the country.

Any surprise there are more floods at high tide times, like hurricanes?

What could possibly be the cause?

While waiting for backups to be done..

I've cleaned up the town a bit and currently have 20 quests ready for players

Now I'm adding some NPCs that walk and run around town to make it more alive

Does anyone know a fun name for the animal town for the game?

Pawston? (Rhymes with Boston, creating opportunities for puns.)

Orchard workers need waterproof boots like these to do their work. Most H2A orders require employers to provide any tools or equipment needed to perform their duties, but none of the H2A workers we've spoken to have ever had these boots provided for them. #WeFeedYou

Two US Navy pilots shot down over Red Sea in apparent 'friendly fire' incident, US military says

cross-posted from: sh.itjust.works/post/29859672

Two U.S. Navy pilots were shot down Sunday over the Red Sea in an apparent “friendly fire” incident, the U.S military said, marking the most serious incident to threaten troops in over a year of America targeting Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

Both pilots were recovered alive after ejecting from their stricken aircraft, with one suffering minor injuries. But the shootdown underlines just how dangerous the Red Sea corridor has become over the ongoing attacks on shipping by the Iranian-backed Houthis despite U.S. and European military coalitions patrolling the area.

The U.S. military had conducted airstrikes targeting Yemen’s Houthi rebels at the time, though the U.S. military’s Central Command did not elaborate on what their mission was and did not immediately respond to questions from The Associated Press.

That's really fascinating, actually.

I'm always interested in seeing what damage the US military sustains in actual combat, considering how much money they spend on it.

It looks like the only damage being done to the US at all in this conflict is from friendly-fire.

Great resource! Too bad churches are exempt from the requirement for non-profits to file.

Oh lordy.

My original polycarbonate #Apple #Macbook from around 2006 which I think I got for my second year at university.

Since then it's been on a journey, having been used by my dad, my sister, my step-ish-family, and most recently by my step-ish neices and nephews.

Needs some significant work and an original MagSafe charger from eBay, but it does apparently still work and is going to be really fun to fix up and put #Linux on.
