An early theatrical production was A Christmas Carol: Or, the Miser's Warning!, a two-act adaptation of A Christmas Carol by C. Z. Barnett, first produced at the Surrey Theatre on 5 February 1844, just weeks after the publication of the novella.

Interesting. DuckDuckGo (the privacy search engine folk) has an AI Chat offering. Actually it's four chat apps accessed through one portal (duck.ai of course), ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, and Mistral.
Looks like we're going to be drowning in AI tools soon.

A #NixOS question:
Signal desktop runs at version x and newer version y is available in Nix.
I did "nix flake update" and "nh os switch --ask". No error.
(nh is: github.com/viperML/nh )
Then I closed Signal desktop and re-started the app again. Still running in version x.
I assumed that with the above procedure, when starting a tool it automatically opens up the most current version.
Where am I wrong?

Hopefully all other departments are preparing their defences - fortifying physical and digital security.
However, people are taking on considerable personal risk by refusing to acknowledge the legitimate chain of command.
The only solution is to bring the fight to the people authorizing this criminality. That won’t be easy, but it’s necessary.
Faced with a coup, if you find yourself in a position to prevent it, one would hope that at least some would be brave enough to disregard personal risk.
