Böhmermann: Die Stasi als TV-Show? journalistenwatch.com/2025/05/… #news #press

Ugh! HOW IS IT no one recognizes that T**** & #Putin operate out of the same playbook: delay, pretend you are complying but keep at it, then go back to what they were doing before once the "time out" ends. 🤦‍♂️

When the Courts say #DonTheCon must do something, he files endless appeals while he keeps right on doing the thing(s) he was told not too.

A "30 day ceasefire" is Putin's version of endless appeals. #Ukraine

The Liver King – this hilarious exposé is like Tiger King … but with way more genital eating - theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2… "The sly wit of this documentary shines through as it follows a toxically masculine fitness influencer who consumes so many raw animal organs you can almost taste the salmonella. It is frequently hilarious"

i always thought the straight ones were english and the curly ones french…
i mean when i set my text processor (libreoffice) to english it gives me straight ones, and when i set it to french it gives me curly ones.

“No one wants to work anymore” is a hell of a thing to say while actively destroying the climate, crushing wages, and automating every job that pays a living wage.
in reply to JA Westenberg

and why would there even need to be a living "wage"? I have no problem with the principle of automating away menial drudge jobs. Automating away the "grunt" work. Great. Bring it on. But then we need to change our society to accept that people will work exclusively for their own satisfaction, and that nobody should have to work to simply afford to live. A person's worth needs to be decoupled from "what they do", and what they do should not be "for a living".
in reply to JA Westenberg

In William Morris's Utopian fantasy, News From Nowhere, noone had to work, work was done for the satisfaction, and necessary manual work was revered and done for the good of all. I know, it is a Utopian fantasy. At this point in time I think fantasy is all we've got to hold on to.
